The Social Lab is built for people, and organisations ready to invest in community.

Something is shifting.

Employees want to work for organisations that care — not just about profit, but about people. Communities want to see the companies operating in their neighbourhoods show up in real, meaningful ways. And the old model of corporate social responsibility — a cheque, a press release, a logo on a banner — is no longer enough.

People can tell the difference between performance and presence.

The Social Lab gives your organisation a vehicle for presence. A way to show up in the community that is genuine, memorable, and good for the people in the room — including yours.

Why The Social Lab?

The Social Lab produces curated social experiences that bring people together around connection, creativity, and play. Every event is intentionally designed so that something real happens between the people in the room.

When your organisation partners with The Social Lab, your brand becomes part of that moment. Not as a logo on a step-and-repeat. Not as a name on a donation receipt. As an investor in the kind of human connection that your community — and your team — actually needs.

The loneliness epidemic is real. The collapse of third space is real. The hunger for genuine in-person experience is real. Your organisation has an opportunity to be part of the solution — and to be seen doing it by exactly the kind of audience that notices.

Three Ways to Partner

Team Experiences

Bring your team into a Social Lab event as a shared wellbeing and connection initiative.

Not a corporate away day. Not a team-building exercise with a facilitator in a conference room. A genuinely curated evening where your people get to be people — curious, social, and present. Where the person from accounts meets the person from operations over a chess board or a business card design workshop, and leaves knowing something about them they would never have learned in a meeting.

Connection within a team is not a nice-to-have. It is the foundation of everything else.

Best for: team culture, employee wellbeing, onboarding, cross-departmental connection, staff retention.

Event Sponsorship

Fund a Social Lab event and attach your brand to a room full of engaged, values-led community members.

Your investment covers the experience — the venue, the materials, the Learning Partner, the Connection Tools, the design. The community shows up. The connection happens. Your brand is part of the reason it did.

Every sponsored event includes brand visibility across The Social Lab's platforms and community communications, recognition on the night, and the credibility of being the organisation that made the room possible.

Best for: brand visibility, community positioning, CSR activation, client entertainment, values-led marketing.

Community Investment

Sponsor a series of Social Lab events as part of a formal corporate social responsibility strategy.

This is the deepest level of partnership — and the most meaningful. A Community Investment partner funds multiple events over an agreed period, receiving impact reporting, brand visibility across The Social Lab's growing community, and the long-term credibility of being a founding partner in a brand that is building something the world genuinely needs.

As The Social Lab grows — from Cayman to Toronto and beyond — Community Investment partners grow with it. Your brand becomes synonymous with the movement.

Best for: ESG reporting, long-term community partnerships, values-led brand alignment, regional and global visibility.

What Partners Say

"There was a good feeling in the room. We made some links with other organisations who can potentially help us, and vice versa."

— Soft Launch Partner

Our Standards

We do not sell sponsorship packages.

We build partnerships with organisations that believe what we believe.

The Social Lab is selective about who it works with — not because we are difficult, but because the integrity of the room depends on it. Every partner we bring into the Social Lab ecosystem is one that aligns with our values of experimentation, research, kindness, and grit.

We are not the right fit for every organisation. But for the ones we are right for — the ones that genuinely want to invest in community, connection, and the wellbeing of the people around them — there is nothing quite like what we are building.

The Numbers

From our soft launch — April 2026:

40+ guests through the door

13 nonprofit organisations in the room

50,000+ profile views in 30 days

$100 total ad spend

88.5% discovered us through social media

72.7% motivated by pure curiosity

A 3D printing club was started in a single evening between two strangers. An AED was donated. Connections were made that would not have happened anywhere else.

This is what The Social Lab produces. Imagine what it could produce with your organisation in the room.

The Numbers

What does it cost to sponsor a Social Lab event?

Sponsorship investment varies depending on the event format, scale, and partnership tier. Get in touch and we will put together a proposal tailored to your organisation.

Do we need to be a large company to partner with The Social Lab?

Not at all. The Social Lab works with organisations of all sizes — from small local businesses to large corporations. What matters is alignment, not budget.

Can we bring our team to an existing Social Lab event?

Yes — team tickets and group experiences can be arranged for any Social Lab gathering. Get in touch to discuss what that looks like for your team.

Does The Social Lab hold charitable funds?

No. For events with a charitable dimension, donations go directly from guests to the named beneficiary organisation. The Social Lab never holds or passes charitable funds.

Where does The Social Lab operate?

Currently in the Cayman Islands, with Toronto as the first expansion market. Global growth is part of the vision — if you are interested in bringing The Social Lab to your city, we would love to hear from you.
